We are a group of LGBT parents with infant to school-aged children. We meet monthly throughout the Greater Nashville area for kid-centered activities. Currently, more than 100 families are involved. My son spent the most exciting, fun-filled, learning experience this year at space camp in Huntsville, Alabama. He is 12 years old and we came from Staten Island, New York. I planned to be in town the whole week. I had planned on keeping myself busy during that time but would have been fun knowing other parents who stayed in town also.
